We leverage Value Stream Mapping and other process improvement methodologies to identify bottlenecks, reduce turnaround time (TAT), and minimize costs for MRO operations, engineering departments, and other aviation functions. We diagnose and remedy process inefficiencies for diverse clients, from regional operators to major airlines.

Technology Implementation & IT System Selection:

We guide aviation companies through complex IT system implementations, including cloud/mobile solutions and ERP/MRP systems. We manage the RFI/RFP process, from requirements gathering to vendor selection and board approval, ensuring seamless integration and improved operational efficiency.

Operational & Strategic Reviews:

We conduct comprehensive operational and strategic reviews for airlines and investors, evaluating business models, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending actionable solutions. We support insourcing projects, optimizing maintenance operations at major airline bases.

We provide expert counsel and project management support during challenging situations, including business restructuring, facility relocation, and crisis management. We successfully relocate Enterprise Divisions or Operating Units, managing staff transitions, property termination, and inventory impairment while maintaining customer confidence. Rob Mayo

Director

With over 30 years of experience, Rob Mayo is a seasoned Director and Consultant specialising in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, and Strategic Change within highly competitive and regulated environments. His structured and strategic thinking has consistently delivered impactful results across various sectors, particularly in the aviation industry.

Rob’s extensive background includes pivotal roles in both consultancy and management, where he has been a strong advocate for continuous improvement and innovation. He has a proven track record of enhancing business processes and people management, always maintaining a focus on financial performance.

Throughout his career, Rob has successfully led numerous consultancy projects, including supporting a European aviation supplier in developing a three-year strategic plan and facilitating a business transformation for an offshore helicopter operator. His expertise has also guided major airlines in optimising their supply chain functions and securing multi-million-pound outsourcing contracts.

Before transitioning to consultancy, Rob held senior management positions with sector leading organisations such as easyJet and Bristow Group. He began his career with a Bachelor of Science degree sponsored by British Airways, laying a strong foundation for his future endeavours.

Rob’s unique blend of strategic insight, operational expertise, and commitment to excellence positions him as a valuable partner for organisations seeking transformative change and sustainable growth.

Mark Bunting

Director

Mark is a seasoned leader in the aviation industry, renowned for his strategic vision and extensive experience in organisational transformation, maintenance operations, and resource management. With a proven track record at industry-leading companies such as easyJet, Emirates, and SR Technics.

Having served as the project lead for various critical initiatives, Mark was instrumental in conducting comprehensive reviews of maintenance strategies, including a thorough evaluation of insourcing versus outsourcing decisions at easyJet. His expertise in benchmarking and best practices has facilitated the collection and reporting of internal data, ensuring that organisational processes align with industry standards.

At Nordam, flydocs, and SmartLynx, Mark developed robust project documentation detailing organisational structures, capabilities, and necessary infrastructure. His leadership in transformation projects involved collaborating with department managers to redefine roles and responsibilities in compliance with EASA regulations.

Mark is also adept at workforce planning, having crafted competency matrices and job descriptions that optimise resource allocation and skill development across multiple organisations. His insights into sourcing strategies, coupled with his commitment to logistics improvement, have consistently enhanced efficiency and reliability within operational frameworks.

In addition to his practical experience, Mark excels in change management, having designed structured plans that incorporate stakeholder engagement, communication strategies, training, and resistance management. His comprehensive understanding of risk management has allowed him to identify potential challenges and implement effective mitigation strategies throughout numerous transition processes.
